Part 1: Basic knowledge

Module 1: Introduction to sustainable development

The main topics include: 1) Definition of sustainable development; 2) History of sustainable development; 3) Overview of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); 4) Stakeholders of sustainable development; 5) Societal Triangulation model.

Module 2: Economic pillar of sustainable development

The main contents include: 1) The SDGs related to the economic aspect: 8, 9, 10, 12; 2) Concepts related to the economy, employment, technology, innovation, inequality, etc.; 3) Sustainable actions.

Module 3: Social pillar of sustainable development

The main contents include: 1) The SDGs related to the social aspect: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11; 2) Concepts related to poverty, food, healthcare, education, gender equality, clean water, sanitation, urban areas, etc.; 3) Sustainable actions.

Module 4: Environmental pillar of sustainable development

The main contents include: 1) The SDGs related to the environmental aspect: 7, 13, 14, 15; 2) Concepts related to energy, climate change, carbon markets, net-zero emissions, fisheries, biodiversity, ecosystem services, carbon credits, etc.; 3) Sustainable actions.

Module 5: Institutional pillar of sustainable development

The main contents include: 1) The SDGs related to the governance aspect: 16, 17; 2) Concepts related to institutions, human rights, justice, cooperation, aid, etc.; 3) Sustainable actions.

Module 6: Sustainable development measurement and reporting

The main contents include: 1) The global sustainable development index; 2) Concepts of corporate sustainability reporting such as ESG, standards, certifications, etc.; 3) Sustainable actions.

Part 2: Advanced knowledge

The main contents include: 1) The social triangle model and its indicators; 2) SDGs, targets, and indicators; 3) Corporate sustainability practices; 4) Individual sustainability practices; 5) UEH Green Campus; 6) Other issues related to sustainable development.

Part 3: Comprehensive tests

These are comprehensive tests, covering contents from Quizzes 1A to 7F. Answers will not be shown, and you may retake the quiz multiple times. After submitting, you will know what your score is (0.2 points for each correct question x 50 questions = 10 points).
